The lads had a great time, and we as a management team thought the exercises you put us through were fantastic, it has helped bringing some of the new lads closer into the squad, hope you and your team enjoyed the lads company !!      It was a great day and the Closer to the Edge team were informative and enthusiastic, but also non obtrusive and let us control our day to a point. We can do the psychometric tests if you want us to - these often provide a good basis to make the training more accountable.
The basis of our ethos and culture is experiential learning. We help people to work together in a smarter way by identifying the cause and effects of poor teamwork. Furthermore, we are customer focussed – we establish your outcomes and objectives in advance of you commencing a programme. In-Service Training Days
Many on the Team are trained educationalists and we have a real understanding of the challenges that stand in the way for teaching staff to deliver quality outdoor learning activities. We have now run a number of teacher-training days where we introduce staff to simple but effective 'Learning Outside the Classroom' activities that they can deliver back at school.  Such a day allows all to have a fantastic time in each other's company while learning new skills.
