Age and Weight Limitations

Fear is a Learnt Behaviour - There is no minimum or maximum age for this course - we have harnesses and helmets to fit all shapes and sizes. Everyone is capable of succeeding but the appearance of the challenges does tend to overwhelm and scare the young and the timid.  The fan-descender has a weight limitation of 15 stone.

'Thanks to you and your team for today!

We really enjoyed ourselves. They were shattered on the drive home! Result!' - Mel Uttley, Tettenhall College

Test your nerve and skill, as a team or individual, while having a huge amount of fun,  experience a huge sense of achievement by completing the following challenges:

Leap of Faith

Climb to the top of the 35 ft pole (it does wobble!), stand on the small platform, have a little knee tremble and leap to grab the trapeze bar suspended in front of you. Why not take somebody with you and do the Double Leap of Faith?

High Seesaw

You and your team have to climb a pole and balance on a seesaw with a difference (it’s 12 metres high).  Superb teamwork, trust and excellent communication are required to achieve success.

giant rope ladder

Giant’s Rope Ladder  A real physical team challenge, guaranteed to bring out the best in you and your team.  Climb a giant rope ladder with your fellow team members.  The higher that you get the further apart the rungs become. Guaranteed to test even the most capable team.

4-person Crate Stack  You may have seen a small version of this with one person stacking the crates and trying to make the highest tower.  Ours is based on 4 people doing the stacking and working effectively together to achieve success.

High All-Aboard  Sounds simple – get your team on a platform 40 ft in the air after they have climbed a pole.  However........the platform is very small and you have to get all 4 onboard at the same time.  This challenge requires balance, courage and team support.

Zip Line  The zip wire is always a crowd pleaser and our 70 metre version will definitely get you focussed.  The line goes from the top platform and travels through the trees - you are clipped onto the trolley by an instructor, ‘sent’ down the wire and safely lowered at the far end.

Parachute Fan Descender

Originally developed for the military to simulate parachute landings, the fan descender works by lowering you to the ground at a controlled rate (but it’s easy to forget this when you are standing on the 40ft platform)  The rate of descent decreases as you reach the ground.  As you reach the ground you've slowed to such a rate that landing is like stepping off a kerb.

Totem Pole Challenges

A climbing challenge with a difference.  Each totem pole has graded routes so you can experience the excitement and adrenalin rush that attracts people to the popular sport of climbing.  Do you have what it takes to reach the summits and stand on the diameter of a wooden post?

obstacle traverse

Obstacle Traverse The aim of this challenge is to negotiate 10 obstacles of varying difficulty around the ropes course, 35 ft off the forest floor whilst clipped on to a safety rail.  An awesome aerial adventure trail that will test your nerve and provide you with an exhilarating experience.

Mobile Climbing Wall Our mobile climbing wall will be in operation at the site when it is not out on the road at events.  This1-piece fibreglass 24ft wall with 4 auto-belay systems is perfect if you want to have a fun climbing experience at a lower cost. Guaranteed to make an impact and is available for hire along with our experienced CTTE operators.

'Just a few words to say a big Thank You for a brilliant afternoon at Baggeridge Heights!  As someone with a fear of heights the High Ropes Course it really pushed me to the limit (but how could I refuse when my children were zooming to the top of everything?).  It has given me a real confidence boost and helped my me to face my phobia- I'm sure I could only do it because I knew we were in the hands of experienced pros and were completely safe at all times.

The children absolutely loved it and came off feeling 10 feet tall- Sophie says it's the best thing she's ever done!  We've been raving about it to everyone, and we'll certainly be back.  Good luck with it

all- you deserve every success.  Gary, Sophie (10) and Alastair (8)'
